Parma Impact Task Force

We want to give a welcome to any readers from Parma. The decision to swing wide over Adrian from Sand Hollow means that a big chunk of Parma will be under giant transmission towers when it might have gone straight south to Hemingway and avoided any town locales at all.

The folks from Parma Impact Task Force LLC support our groups' Option 2 that relocates the Sand Hollow substation to north of Payette and makes a circle using designated utility corridors, thus avoiding all privately held property. We've heard from other smaller groups as well, including Baker City's contingent.

If you're from Parma and you're just finding out about how this will impact you, ask around and you'll eventually hear all about it.

Better yet, join us at our meeting Monday, January 12th, at the Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario at 7:00. We'll be talking with Energy and Utility Law Attorney Tom Nelson.

See you there!
