SIP's Energy Consultant

A member of Stop Idaho Power's Board of Directors, Farrell Larson, contacted David Marcus, a consultant on power needs with a Masters degree from UC Berkley in Energy and Natural Resources. Marcus was involved in a case in southern California where Cal Edison proposed siting a high voltage transmission line through prime farm land. Farmers won the case and the power line was moved.

Marcus has worked for Bechtel, The Sierra Club, Federal Energy Agency, California Energy Commission, Environmental Defense Fund, and for individual clients. You can read his client list HERE.

Marcus has agreed to help our coalition prepare our case against Idaho Power in conjunction with Portland Attorney Tom Nelson.
